This is an introductory course designed to assist students in understanding and improving their skill in effective communication. Speech is a performance-based course that will allow students to apply the skills learned in class using a variety of activities, such as: public speaking, self-critique, and group work. In addition, all students will complete a mock job interview unit which assists in meeting graduation requirements. This course fulfills the Oral Communications Graduation Requirement. Prerequisites: None
